About
Navaye Erfan is a musical and cultural movement devoted to bringing the depth and beauty of Persian poetry into the modern world. Rooted in a love for sound, language, and meaning, it seeks to awaken something timeless within the listener, a remembrance of the self that exists beyond words.
The project was envisioned and brought to life by Rouzbeh Roshanravan, a musician and composer whose passion for Persian literature and spiritual music became the foundation for Navaye Erfan. His vision is to create a bridge between the mystical wisdom of the past and the emotional language of contemporary sound, allowing the words of poets like Rumi to breathe again in a form that resonates with today's hearts.
In a time when people’s tastes and attention are shaped by speed and noise, the ancient voice of Persian poetry often fades into the background. Yet its essence of love, awareness, and unity is more relevant than ever. Navaye Erfan seeks to preserve and reinterpret this heritage, transforming it into experiences that feel alive, cinematic, and deeply human.
This journey began as a humble exploration of Rumi’s verses through music and has gradually expanded to embrace other poets and thinkers who shaped the Persian soul. Each composition is both a tribute and a renewal, an attempt to carry the torch of wisdom forward so that it can light new generations.
At its heart, Navaye Erfan is a call to remembrance: to remember the beauty we came from, the love we are made of, and the silence that still sings within us.
