Duties, Taxes, and Import Fees
For international orders outside of Canada, your country may require additional duties, taxes, or import fees when your package arrives. These charges are set by your local customs authorities and vary by region.
Navaye Erfan is not responsible for:
-
Customs duties
-
VAT, GST, or other import taxes
-
Handling fees charged by postal carriers or couriers
-
Delays caused by customs inspections
These fees (if any) are the responsibility of the recipient.
Why These Charges Occur
Each destination country has its own customs regulations. When a package enters that country, customs may review it and decide whether additional import fees apply. This is a normal part of international shipping.
Refusing or Returning Packages
If a customer refuses to pay duties or import fees:
-
The package may be returned to us by the carrier (in some cases, it may be destroyed depending on the country’s rules).
-
If the package is returned, we can resend it, but new shipping costs must be paid by the customer.
-
Refunds are only issued according to our established Refund Policy.
Delivery Delays
Customs inspections can occasionally delay delivery. This is outside our control and does not qualify for a refund.
